Every term is defined twice: once the way a filing would put it, and once the way somebody would explain it to you across a table. The second one is usually the one that sticks.

In plain terms

Without one there is no definition of managing somebody’s money well, because there is nothing any outcome can be measured against. A few sentences is enough; the absence is what causes the arguments.
